New Theatre - Trivandrum

The New Theatre, Trivandrum is located near the Fly over at Thampanoor. It is close to the Railway station and the Bus station at Thampanoor.
We went to see the Mamooty hit move Rajamanikyam at New Theatre. The New Theatre is a sort of "second class" theatre and the crowd is not the best. I would not categorise the New Theatre as an ideal family theatre.
One thing annoying about the theatre is that the gates are opened to cars and motorcycles only about 30 mins prior to the film. This, I think, is because of the fact that they want to make sure that the vehicles parked there for the previous movie have left before the ones for the next movie goes into the parking spots. They should come up with a better system than to cause such inconvenience to patrons.
We took tickets to the "Dress Circle" (like the Balcony) and had an enjoyable experience watching the move. The movie was good, but the theatre has lots of room for improvement.
